Out of the Box provides a platform for emerging Berlin-based choreographers to adapt existing stage works to a gallery space. The performance series is organized by the MMpraxis curatorial platform in collaboration with Contemporary Arts Alliance Berlin (CAA) and collaborates every time with different galleries.

Each edition offers a 7-day rehearsal period with technical support and a mentoring program in which the artists receive support from a mentor of their choice. During the residency, strategies will be discussed and developed to sustain the visibility of the productions beyond the individual events.
